NetoDragon 56k Modem (PM-2301) NetoDragon is a V.92 modem chipset optimized for PCI bus specification. This innovative solution is based on proven NetoDragon modem technology already found in millions of modems worldwide. It offers V.92/V.90 modem, fax and telephony features in a 3 chip design made of an extremely compact PCI modem controller and a leading edge Silicon DAA (Data Access Arrangement) in two SOIC16 packages (10x3mm). The complete solution, using a single board layout, can be certified in multiple countries worldwide. With the Faxtalk software, users can also use this device as a fax machine. In addition, the Modem Net On Hold feature will allow users who have call waiting to pick up phone calls without getting disconnected from the Internet. Simply with several clicks, the user will be able to switch between the phone and the Internet and resume the connection after finishing the phone call. Finally, data compression (V.44/V.42 bis/MNP 5) and error detection (V.42/MNP 2-4) modes are also supported to maximize data throughput and data transfer integrity.
